To say that this book is thought provoking is an understatement. Countless times, I found myself on the verge of total disagreement with concepts set before me, but then just a few paragraphs later - an AHA! - what a ride! Not only did it make sense, but I was either adamantly pro concept now or at least pondering the concept as it relates to me and my faith. Traditional concepts and “Christian traits” are dissected and inspected, as well as Christian / non-Christian followers, themselves. The author’s approach to difficult concepts was both insightful and easy to follow allowing for more meaningful discussion of one’s faith during Sunday school and other group discussions. And, a bonus is the author’s humor is laced throughout the book, thus making it a delight to read. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is tired of hearing the same mind-numbing message that surrounds us today, and who is looking for a fresh perspective on an age old topic.Sinner's Guide to Discipleship
